Rafik Baroudi scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mahmoud Chedda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Bruel got free with Charles Sadi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Dundee FC's Charles Sadi got control of the ball when Lakhdar Merah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafik Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Chedda having to interfere. Charles Sadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Merah in the 48th minute of play. The ALLAHU EKBER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dundee FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lakhdar Merah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Dundee FC got a freekick which was hit by Salah Louahla. Lakhdar Merah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dundee FC's Djabir Hadjadj quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fodil Mimoun, made in the 60th minute of the game. Salah Louahla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mahmoud Chedda made a huge save. Charles Sadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Bruel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Salah Louahla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mahmoud Chedda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
