Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yahia Boniche started the match with the kick off. Ali Ouadah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderaouf Brahimi having to interfere. A collision led to Spring Lake getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kateb Benzine hit a great ball. Spring Lake's Abderaouf Brahimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Spring Lake from getting a goal against them. Abderaouf Brahimi was a little too slow when Tedj Cixous got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 27th minute, Rabah Abdi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abderaouf Brahimi. The goal made the score 2-0. With a little luck, Spring Lake's Abderaouf Brahimi got control of the ball when Tedj Cixous tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 played minutes Spring Lake got a freekick which was hit by Kateb Benzine. Tedj Cixous fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderaouf Brahimi having to interfere. Tedj Cixous could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Abderaouf Brahimi made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tedj Cixous to make the kick off. Tedj Cixous's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abderaouf Brahimi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Spring Lake getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. François Boudiaf hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Spring Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Cixous came free, but Abderaouf Brahimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Tedj Mansouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kannapolis's Rabah Abdi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kannapolis's Cheb Sennaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kannapolis fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Kannapolis's Cheb Sennaoui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mehdi Camus kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Cheb Sennaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spring Lake's Abderaouf Brahimi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedj Cixous in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abderaouf Brahimi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rabah Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
