The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Spring Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kateb Benzine to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Pablo-Enrique Perfumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderaouf Brahimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Amar Maroc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderaouf Brahimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Pablo-Enrique Perfumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abderaouf Brahimi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amar Maroc's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Pablo-Enrique Perfumo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abderaouf Brahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amar Maroc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderaouf Brahimi having to interfere. If Pablo-Enrique Perfumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderaouf Brahimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walid Boniche, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahia Boniche made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Pablo-Enrique Perfumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Caldwell AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo-Enrique Perfumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abderaouf Brahimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo-Enrique Perfumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abderaouf Brahimi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by West Caldwell AFC's Ramon Garcia. But to his dismay, Ramon Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, Amar Maroc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abderaouf Brahimi. Spring Lake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amar Maroc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Spring Lake booed when West Caldwell AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walid Boniche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes West Caldwell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walid Boniche. Isac Joanță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abderaouf Brahimi came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by West Caldwell AFC's Amar Maroc. But to his dismay, Amar Maroc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Spring Lake supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching West Caldwell AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for West Caldwell AFC.
