Mohammad Kaci Bougherra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kassel Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mouloud Belloumi came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Catasauqua's Charles Liegeon. But to his dismay, Charles Liegeon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 17th minute Hamid Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Belloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chakib Djeziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Laura Douibi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohammad Kaci Bougherra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Karim Laura Douibi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Catasauqua's goal looked a bit too open when Chakib Djeziri came free, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Ben Khalidi in the 29th minute of the match. If Charles Liegeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Liegeon could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Mouloud Belloumi however easily saved by the left post. If Karim Laura Douibi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamid Zaaboub was the one to do the kick off. Mohammad Kaci Bougherra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Karim Laura Douibi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohammad Kaci Bougherra having to make a save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Red Bank AFC's Chakib Djeziri in the 61st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mohammad Kaci Bougherra was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Catasauqua through an amazing save. Chakib Djeziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Zaaboub's late challenge caught a Red Bank AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamid Zaaboub helped the player get up and apologised. Hamid Zaaboub hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Karim Laura Douibi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Kaci Bougherra having to interfere. Mouloud Belloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Zaaboub in the 90th minute of play. Chakib Djeziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Chakib Djeziri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bank AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chakib Djeziri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Red Bank AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
