Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Anthar Medjiba made the kick off and thus started the match. If Mebarek Kerbouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Selma's Rachid Chebal got a free kick in the 11th minute. Yasmina Yahia, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Benhamou got free with Chadli Khendu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Selma got a freekick which was hit by Kassel Bedjaoui. Nordine Feraoun charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nordine Feraoun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of North Decatur booed when Selma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nordine Feraoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Benhamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chadli Khendu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mebarek Kerbouche in the 28th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, North Decatur's René Timsit made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Kader was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Rachid Chebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Decatur the free kick. In the 39th minute, Rachid Chebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. René Timsit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kader having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Rachid Benhamou notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of North Decatur's Chadli Khendu. Chadli Khendu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mebarek Kerbouche made a kick off. North Decatur's Anthar Medjiba got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of North Decatur booed when Selma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Chebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, North Decatur's Mohamed Kader threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anthar Medjiba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rachid Benhamou in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chadli Khendu saved North Decatur from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Fawzi Messaoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mebarek Kerbouche in the 67th minute of play forced North Decatur's goalkeeper Chadli Khendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mebarek Kerbouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Benhamou struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Chadli Khendu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selma. After a rather tough play, Selma's Toufik Zafour got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Yasmina Yahia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Kader showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Anthar Medjiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, North Decatur's goal looked a bit too open when Mebarek Kerbouche came free, but Chadli Khendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Harkouk during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of North Decatur booed when Selma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Harkouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Fawzi Messaoud managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 89 minutes into the match, North Decatur's goal looked a bit too open when Mebarek Kerbouche came free, but Chadli Khendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rachid Benhamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
