North Decatur's Fawzi Abrika shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kamel Benyamina but with some difficulty. Chadli Khendu went to the wrong direction when Lakhdar Ammour was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Chadli Khendu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Larbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Larbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chadli Khendu having to make a save. 37 minutes into the game, Rachid Larbes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chadli Khendu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Anthar Medjiba made the kick off in the second half. Fawzi Abrika hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Rachid Larbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Euclid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Larbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chadli Khendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mebarek Bella in the 55th minute. Karim Cohen's late challenge caught a Euclid FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Cohen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to North Decatur getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Karim Cohen hit a great ball. If Rachid Larbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
