Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jussef Djebbour started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lakeland Highlands AFC's goalkeeper Tedj Bellemou Messaoud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Assia Mohand struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Kamel Khaled didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakeland Highlands AFC. Kamel Khaled stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazhar Saci's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Tedj Bellemou Messaoud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from El Bougherra went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kamel Khaled made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Megharia in the 17th minute of play. El Bougherra might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tedj Bellemou Messaoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. El Bougherra ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Assia Mohand in the 20th minute of play forced Monster Club's goalkeeper Kamel Khaled to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Monster Club got a freekick which was hit by Mebarek Merzekane. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Assia Mohand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakeland Highlands AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Assia Mohand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamel Khaled breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jussef Djebbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tedj Bellemou Messaoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazhar Saci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Khaled having to interfere. Lazhar Saci scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamel Khaled, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Lazhar Saci made the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Assia Mohand shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Kamel Khaled and just under the crossbar into goal. Jussef Djebbour took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tedj Bellemou Messaoud. Tedj Bellemou Messaoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. El Bougherra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Bellemou Messaoud having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monster Club's El Messaoud got a free kick in the 70th minute. El Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Bellemou Messaoud having to interfere. If Lazhar Saci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Monster Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Assia Mohand fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 86th match minute, Monster Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mebarek Merzekane to maneuver through the defense. If Assia Mohand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lakeland Highlands AFC booed when Monster Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mebarek Merzekane didn't get a good kick on the ball.
