Yahia Mansouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Meriem having to interfere. Faouzi Meriem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahia Mansouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Souad Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Borrego Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yahia Mansouri came free, but Faouzi Meriem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Gaouaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Faouzi Meriem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahia Mansouri in the 18th minute of the match. Souad Zitouni took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faouzi Meriem. Faouzi Meriem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yahia Mansouri struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Faouzi Meriem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RCA. 29 minutes into the match, RCA's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Aribi came free, but Mahmoud Boudjedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheb Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Boudjedra having to interfere. Faouzi Meriem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahia Mansouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Souad Zitouni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borrego Springs FC's Faouzi Meriem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Souad Zitouni in the 42nd minute of play forced Borrego Springs FC's goalkeeper Faouzi Meriem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yahia Mansouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Meriem having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismaël Aribi to make the kick off. If Yahia Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Borrego Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Deghmani. Thanks to some nice moves Yahia Mansouri could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Faouzi Meriem however easily saved by the left post. After 60 played minutes RCA got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Diss. After a defensive mix-up in Borrego Springs FC's zone, Yahia Mansouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faouzi Meriem came out of the goal and Yahia Mansouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Souad Zitouni took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Faouzi Meriem to make any attempt to save it. Yahia Mansouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Faouzi Meriem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamel Deghmani hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Yahia Mansouri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faouzi Meriem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Souad Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahmoud Boudjedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Morceli in the 93rd minute of play. The Borrego Springs FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RCA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
