Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sandu Cercelescu got the match started through his kick off. Ismaël Belloumi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of St. Maries booed when Grand Haven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjid Abdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Tedj Belfaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St. Maries's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grand Haven FC the free kick. In the 7th minute, Tedj Belfaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Tedj Belfaa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferhat Kacha, 1-0. Corryn Sorter hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Sandu Cercelescu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Grand Haven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Cercelescu couldn't finish the play. Ali Belloumi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Yazid Gallaire kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Sandu Cercelescu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Grand Haven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Cercelescu couldn't finish the play. St. Maries's Yacine Bourebbou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Laurent Kourichi in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Belfaa in the 28th minute of play forced Grand Haven FC's goalkeeper Ferhat Kacha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sandu Cercelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferhat Kacha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boughera Arrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Sandu Cercelescu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Grand Haven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Cercelescu couldn't finish the play. Yacine Bourebbou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Cercelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sandu Cercelescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Bourebbou having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tedj Belfaa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ismaël Belloumi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Kacha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, St. Maries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Hanister to maneuver through the defense. Ferhat Kacha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismaël Belloumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sandu Cercelescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Yacine Bourebbou made a huge save. Guillaume Laurent Kourichi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Bourebbou having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Sandu Cercelescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yacine Bourebbou. Sandu Cercelescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Grand Haven FC's Guillaume Laurent Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faouzi Sakhri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yacine Bourebbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandu Cercelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 played minutes Grand Haven FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Dahleb. After recieving a nice pass, St. Maries's Ali Belloumi tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Grand Haven FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
