St. Maries's Yacine Bourebbou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustapha Piaf in the 45th minute of play. Boughera Arrache kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tedj Belfaa to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ismaël Belloumi managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. Maries's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismaël Belloumi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustapha Piaf got free with Yacine Bourebbou in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute of the match, Noureddine Moussaoui tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yacine Bourebbou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yacine Bourebbou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Moussaoui in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, St. Maries's Yacine Bourebbou got control of the ball when Mustapha Piaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yacine Bourebbou was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Noureddine Moussaoui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adlène Boukensa was slow to take the kick. During this time Pichichen's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Noureddine Moussaoui managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice moves Mustapha Piaf could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Yacine Bourebbou however easily saved by the left post. Hicham Mansouri charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hicham Mansouri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adlène Boukensa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
