Rachid Mehenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Zaaboub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. South Gastonia's Rachid Mehenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by El Merbah in the 80th minute of play. Yahia Adjani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yahia Adjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to South Gastonia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mehdi Hemdani hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the South Gastonia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RNS FC.
