Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amar Bencheikh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wind Lake's Cheikha Medjani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maamar Djura in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Wind Lake got a freekick which was hit by Djamal Chaib. In the 23rd minute of the match Abdelhamid Bouchemla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cheikha Medjani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Medjadi Hadjadj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amar Bencheikh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boubekeur Mezair hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Medjadi Hadjadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amar Bencheikh in the 38th minute of play. Karim Khaled received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cheikha Medjani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karim Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maamar Djura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Owego got a freekick which was hit by Bouabdellah Boudiaf. Wind Lake's Abdelaziz Mansouri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Owego. If Lazhar Kouici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karim Khaled came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Owego fans jumped to their feet. Lazhar Kouici took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Medjadi Hadjadj. Medjadi Hadjadj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 75th minute, Fouad Madouni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Owego's Medjadi Hadjadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amar Bencheikh in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maamar Djura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheikha Medjani was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Amar Bencheikh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazhar Kouici in the 92nd minute of play forced Owego's goalkeeper Medjadi Hadjadj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Owego's zone, Amar Bencheikh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medjadi Hadjadj came out of the goal and Amar Bencheikh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
