Ali Schoonmaker hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Kateb Yacine fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kenwood's protests and gave Kateb Yacine a yellow card for diving instead. Kateb Yacine hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelnasser Maillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid Chaib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelhamid Bougherra having to make a save. Kenwood's Abdelhamid Bougherra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Bensaïd in the 20th minute of play. When Kenwood's Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valley View's goalie prevented a goal. Valley View's Hamid Chaib got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mahmoud Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when El Lamine got free with Abdelnasser Maillot in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Valley View's Abdelnasser Maillot got control of the ball when El Lamine tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Abdelnasser Maillot. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Hamid Chaib put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abdelhamid Bougherra. Valley View's Abdelnasser Maillot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Valley View from getting a goal against them. Hamid Chaib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Bougherra having to interfere. The supporters of Valley View booed when Kenwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abd al-Aziz Benchenaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelhamid Bougherra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafik Bensaïd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Lamine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelnasser Maillot made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when El Lamine sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafik Bensaïd to make the kick off. Abdelhamid Bougherra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Bensaïd in the 56th minute of the match. Valley View's Abdelnasser Maillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni in the 60th minute of play. If Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Bensaïd in the 63rd minute of play forced Kenwood's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Bougherra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jussef Ben Saïd-Guerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Abdelnasser Maillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Lamine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rafik Bensaïd struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Abdelhamid Bougherra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valley View. Hamid Chaib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Abdelhamid Bougherra made a huge save. If Rafik Bensaïd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Valley View's Mahmoud Macias tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Kenwood got a freekick which was hit by Abd al-Aziz Benchenaa. Abdelhamid Bougherra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mahmoud Macias. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valley View walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
