Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mustapha Ihidjaten kicked off to start the match. Nourredine Lemoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houari Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, South Daytona's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Belkheir came free, but Nourredine Lemoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djamal Kermali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yazid Mansouri having to make a save. Karim Belkheir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nourredine Lemoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Robert Said was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Daytona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burleson FC the free kick. Robert Said hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Burleson FC's Houari Akrour in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Daytona's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th match minute, South Daytona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Merzekane to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Djamal Kermali got free with Yazid Mansouri in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Djamal Kermali hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rafik Amri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mustapha Ihidjaten sped through Burleson FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yazid Mansouri. Nourredine Lemoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Houari Akrour in the 33rd minute of play. Houari Akrour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nourredine Lemoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djamal Kermali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rachid Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Mansouri having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djamal Kermali in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yazid Mansouri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boudjemaa Zidane's late challenge caught a South Daytona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boudjemaa Zidane helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Burleson FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of South Daytona:s goal. Yazid Mansouri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Ihidjaten, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, one of Burleson FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 69 minutes into the match, South Daytona's goal looked a bit too open when Houari Akrour came free, but Nourredine Lemoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, South Daytona's Mouloud Merzekane got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Houari Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Burleson FC booed when South Daytona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Merzekane didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamal Kermali in the 77th minute of play forced Burleson FC's goalkeeper Yazid Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djamal Kermali struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Yazid Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Daytona. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. South Daytona had won after a very even match.
