Abdelmalek Kouidri came out of the goal and Ali Sennaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fadel Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larbi Zahouania having to interfere. Larbi Zahouania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Souad Mammeri in the 38th minute of the match. Nathan FC's Mouloud Cavalli got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Nathan FC's Mouloud Cavalli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Larbi Zahouania made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mebarek Sadmi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yazid Morceli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nathan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadel Saïdi-Sief was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Abrika's late challenge caught a Hartland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Abrika helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Nathan FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Abrika. After 67 played minutes Hartland FC got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Kouidri. A collision led to Hartland FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nadir Kouidri hit a great ball. Mouloud Cavalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larbi Zahouania having to interfere. Fadel Saïdi-Sief scored 0-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larbi Zahouania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Sennaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Mouloud Cavalli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nathan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Cavalli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yazid Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larbi Zahouania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Cavalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mouloud Cavalli came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Nathan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Cavalli couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Nathan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hartland FC.
