An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Sifi in the 9th minute of play forced Hartland FC's goalkeeper Larbi Zahouania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Morceli scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chih El-Kenz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yazid Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Chih El-Kenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Yazid Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Morceli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Sennaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chih El-Kenz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yazid Morceli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chih El-Kenz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ali Sennaoui struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Chih El-Kenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hartland FC. Chih El-Kenz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Hopedale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moulay Djaout charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moulay Djaout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Hartland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moulay Djaout to maneuver through the defense. Yazid Morceli hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
