Rangoon Devils's Fateh Ahmed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Chaib in the 15th minute of play. In the 27th minute Hakim Mimoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fateh Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Lakemore's Hakim Mimoun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fateh Ahmed was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rangoon Devils's Abdelmalek Ulansi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Rangoon Devils's Slimane Bridji nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mansour Sellal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rangoon Devils's Abdelmalek Ulansi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Mimoun in the 46th minute of play forced Rangoon Devils's goalkeeper Fateh Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kamel Chaib to strike the kick off in the second half. Fateh Ahmed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Chaib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelmalek Ulansi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Halim Raho managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Kamel Chaib's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fateh Ahmed was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Halim Raho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rangoon Devils had played much better football throughout.
