After a defensive mix-up in Elba AFC's zone, Lounès Zitouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walid Guendouz came out of the goal and Lounès Zitouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mamaar Mehenni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasmina Mesbah, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Mamaar Abdenouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bendjedid Hamid Brahima might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mamaar Mehenni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bendjedid Hamid Brahima ran back to his position shaking his head. Lounès Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mamaar Mehenni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bendjedid Hamid Brahima in the 26th minute. Yasmina Mesbah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bendjedid Hamid Brahima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mamaar Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Dahar's late challenge caught a Elba AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rabah Dahar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Rabah Dahar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Bendjedid Hamid Brahima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mamaar Mehenni. FC Polonia Emigracja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bendjedid Hamid Brahima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lounès Zitouni was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasmina Mesbah in the 56th minute of play forced FC Polonia Emigracja's goalkeeper Mamaar Mehenni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yasmina Mesbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mamaar Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walid Guendouz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Polonia Emigracja's goalkeeper Mamaar Mehenni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Lounès Zitouni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Polonia Emigracja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lounès Zitouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Lounès Zitouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Guendouz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yasmina Mesbah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bendjedid Hamid Brahima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Polonia Emigracja players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elba AFC.
