After a rather tough play, Sansom AFC's Chaba Madjer got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Sansom AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Meriem came free, but Noureddine Boukensa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tupelo AFC's Mohamed El-Hadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadel Yahia in the 9th minute of play. Fadel Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed El-Hadi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Meriem in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noureddine Boukensa saved Sansom AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Meriem in the 17th minute of play forced Sansom AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Boukensa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehdi Kourichi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Boukensa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Tupelo AFC's zone, Fadel Yahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed El-Hadi came out of the goal and Fadel Yahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaba Madjer hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Noureddine Boukensa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Tupelo AFC's Mehdi Kourichi. But to his dismay, Mehdi Kourichi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mehdi Kourichi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Noureddine Boukensa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tupelo AFC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fadel Yahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amar Taha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Tedj Boudjedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed El-Hadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Tupelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mebarek Kaci Said. Fadel Yahia took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed El-Hadi. Mohamed El-Hadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Mehdi Kourichi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Noureddine Boukensa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Ahmed Meriem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Meriem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tupelo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
