National FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mounir Benzine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Otman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abderaouf Aggoune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Abdelnacer Al-Jazairia managed to get in a good position for a shot. National FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelnacer Al-Jazairia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Medjoudj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jasmine Estates's Noureddine Medjoudj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mounir Benzine in the 25th minute of play. Nadir Achiu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Mounir Benzine took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noureddine Medjoudj. Noureddine Medjoudj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Belaid Larbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, National FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abderaouf Aggoune fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Mounir Benzine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noureddine Medjoudj was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Jasmine Estates's zone, Mounir Benzine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Medjoudj came out of the goal and Mounir Benzine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abderaouf Aggoune made a kick off. Abderaouf Aggoune recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ben Otman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abderaouf Aggoune in the 68th minute of play forced National FC's goalkeeper Ben Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mounir Benzine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noureddine Medjoudj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mounir Benzine, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Jasmine Estates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Achiu to maneuver through the defense. If Mounir Benzine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abdelnacer Al-Jazairia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Jasmine Estates's Noureddine Medjoudj got control of the ball when Mounir Benzine tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
