Mpofu FC's Mohammed Ahmed Kermali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Belmadi in the 42nd minute of play. If Yazid Belmadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yazid Belmadi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mpofu FC's Mohammed Ahmed Kermali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Belmadi in the 75th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Mpofu FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
