Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fodil Bezzaz started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ali Zouba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mpofu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Zouba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamel Matoub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Mpofu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Bezzaz came free, but Mohammed Ahmed Kermali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kamel Matoub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Mpofu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Bezzaz came free, but Mohammed Ahmed Kermali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fodil Bezzaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamel Matoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Assad in the 27th minute of the match. Amar Ammour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Woonsocket's zone, Amar Ammour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamel Matoub came out of the goal and Amar Ammour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodil Bezzaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Ahmed Kermali having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Amar Ammour fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kamel Matoub, passed just outside the right post. In the 37th minute, Abdelaziz Doutté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Chaba Saïdi-Sief notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mpofu FC's Mohammed Ahmed Kermali. Mohammed Ahmed Kermali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mpofu FC booed when Woonsocket was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belaid Bouteflika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience was convinced that Amar Ammour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamel Matoub was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Abdelmalek Bensaoula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamel Matoub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Woonsocket was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhani Zafour to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Woonsocket's goal looked a bit too open when Amar Ammour came free, but Kamel Matoub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fodil Bezzaz fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woonsocket's protests and gave Fodil Bezzaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Fodil Bezzaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Amar Ammour put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kamel Matoub. Amar Ammour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amar Ammour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Matoub having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Mpofu FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
