With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Belhagj in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faouzi Saïd-Guerni saved Charles Town AFC from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Charles Town AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Fahima. 22 minutes into the game, Mohamed Fahima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charles Town AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oelwein the free kick. A collision led to Charles Town AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mohamed Fahima hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Charles Town AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Saïd-Guerni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Sadi. With a little luck, Charles Town AFC's Faouzi Saïd-Guerni got control of the ball when Halim Sadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Ahmed Belhagj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halim Sadi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Faouzi Saïd-Guerni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Halim Sadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni made a huge save. Oelwein's René Zitouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Zaoui in the 45th minute of play. When Moulay Amri fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oelwein's protests and gave Moulay Amri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oelwein's Moulay Amri got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fathi Zidane kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Oelwein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faouzi Mohand to maneuver through the defense. Charles Town AFC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Oelwein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdelmalek Medjani took the corner. Halim Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. René Zitouni came out of the goal and Mohamed Kerbouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Belhagj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Ahmed Belhagj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halim Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walid Meriem hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Mohamed Kerbouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
