In the 8th minute, Brahim Raho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Pearl City FC defense, Ali Rimitti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abd al-Aziz Zidān. The Pearl City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abd al-Aziz Zidān should have stopped the shot. If Abdellah Labi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abd al-Aziz Zidān tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Abdellah Labi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winooski's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdellah Labi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abd al-Aziz Zidān breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abd al-Aziz Zidān made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Rimitti in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Ali Rimitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Aziz Zidān saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Pearl City FC's Brahim Raho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faouzi Djahnine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Winooski! Faouzi Djahnine went to the wrong direction when Hamid Medaci was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Brahim Raho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faouzi Djahnine having to make a save. Smail Mamouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Faouzi Djahnine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maïssa Mimoun's late challenge caught a Pearl City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maïssa Mimoun helped the player get up and apologised. Maïssa Mimoun hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Smail Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Brahim Raho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Rimitti to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Smail Mamouni in the 53rd minute of play forced Winooski's goalkeeper Faouzi Djahnine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winooski's Faouzi Djahnine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Mamouni in the 54th minute of play. Abd al-Aziz Zidān showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Sifi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Smail Mamouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Faouzi Djahnine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Brahim Raho sped through Winooski's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faouzi Djahnine. In the 68thth minute of the game Smail Mamouni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winooski's Faouzi Djahnine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Winooski's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Boulahfane came free, but Faouzi Djahnine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Smail Mamouni got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Faouzi Djahnine handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Smail Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smail Mamouni might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faouzi Djahnine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Smail Mamouni ran back to his position shaking his head. Faouzi Djahnine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Smail Mamouni in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Brahim Raho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winooski's Faouzi Djahnine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Brahim Raho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pearl City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Faouzi Djahnine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Smail Mamouni's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Brahim Raho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Djahnine having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winooski's goalkeeper Faouzi Djahnine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Smail Mamouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Djahnine having to interfere. Winooski's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
