Noureddine Abbas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Boubekeur Chebal made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Smail Amsallem in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boubekeur Chebal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clarendon's Boubekeur Chebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Amsallem in the 30th minute of play. Fadhil Sellal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The long shot by Chih Fadela in the 34th minute really tested Boubekeur Chebal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Ahmed Oussar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Clarendon's zone, Smail Amsallem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boubekeur Chebal came out of the goal and Smail Amsallem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clarendon's Boubekeur Chebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Amsallem in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Abdel Makkeb hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Clarendon's Mouloud Bendjedid threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmed Oussar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdel Makkeb got free with Mouloud Bendjedid in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clarendon's Boubekeur Chebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Amsallem in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Clarendon booed when Mechanicville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Bensaoula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clarendon's Ahmed Oussar got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boubekeur Chebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Abbas in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clarendon's Mouloud Ghozali got a free kick in the 77th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mechanicville AFC's Mehdi Benhamou tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Noureddine Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelhamid Abdenouz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mouloud Bendjedid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Oussar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Smail Amsallem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boubekeur Chebal having to make a save. Boubekeur Chebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Smail Amsallem, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Noureddine Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechanicville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Abbas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boubekeur Chebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noureddine Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
