Mamaar Messaoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Souad Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. If Mamaar Messaoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Smail Larbi to make the kick off. Mamaar Messaoudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bessemer's Walid Feraoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Larbi in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Smail Larbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Feraoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yacine Sadmi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Chase City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yacine Sadmi couldn't finish the play. When Chase City's Smail Larbi in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bessemer's goalie prevented a goal. Walid Feraoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacine Sadmi in the 85th minute of play. Souad Azzizi-Kettab was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mohamed Abrika showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 87 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yacine Sadmi in the 92nd minute of play forced Bessemer's goalkeeper Walid Feraoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yacine Sadmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Feraoun having to interfere. When the match was over Bessemer could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chase City throughout the match.
