In the 18th minute, Ahmed Saïdi-Sief ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fadhil Fari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 21 played minutes MOMO TOTE FC got a freekick which was hit by Karim Merzekane. Chase City were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after MOMO TOTE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fergani Fillali took the corner. The corner ended in Fergani Fillali almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MOMO TOTE FC's Fadhil Fari did a great save. The supporters of Chase City booed when MOMO TOTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hameur Diafat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chase City's Camel Metref got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yacine Sadmi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fadhil Fari having to make a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Chase City were furious when Camel Metref was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Chase City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MOMO TOTE FC:s goal. The referee gave MOMO TOTE FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lili Zahouania, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chase City's Souad Azzizi-Kettab. 2-2. Fadhil Fari came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Chase City's Yacine Sadmi. But to his dismay, Yacine Sadmi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Yacine Sadmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fadhil Fari made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Hameur Diafat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafik Zoheir Brahami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Souad Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yacine Sadmi got free with Fadhil Fari in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chase City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
