In the 23rd match minute, Sardis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Messaoudi to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Mouloud Mamouni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sardis and the Picture Rocks AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Sardis got a freekick which was hit by Mouloud Mamouni. After having played for 30 minutes, Mouloud Mamouni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sardis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Mamouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hocine Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Skif having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Hocine Adjani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picture Rocks AFC's Yazid Skif was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hocine Adjani to strike the kick off in the second half. Mourad Halimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Laura Douibi in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ahmed Laura Douibi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mourad Halimi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hocine Adjani in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yazid Skif saved Picture Rocks AFC from getting behind. Sardis's Mouloud Mamouni got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Picture Rocks AFC's Yazid Skif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Picture Rocks AFC from getting a goal against them. Hocine Adjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Yazid Skif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Haddou kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sardis's zone, Ahmed Laura Douibi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Halimi came out of the goal and Ahmed Laura Douibi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hocine Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Skif having to interfere. Hamid Messaoudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Alain Mehenni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mourad Halimi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
