The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Run Away MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Bencheikh came free, but Rachid Bourebbou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nabil Kourichi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ismaël Fanon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nabil Kourichi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Run Away MZT's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabil Kourichi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismaël Fanon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nabil Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rafik Bencheikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Bourebbou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meziane Kerkar's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Meziane Kerkar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Run Away MZT's Rachid Bourebbou. Rachid Bourebbou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafik Bencheikh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rafik Bencheikh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Bourebbou having to interfere. Run Away MZT's Rachid Bourebbou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meziane Kerkar in the 44th minute of play. Muhammad Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ismaël Fanon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Meziane Kerkar was the one to do the kick off. Run Away MZT's Nabil Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Run Away MZT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abd el Ulansi to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Meziane Kerkar took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rachid Bourebbou to make any attempt to save it. 0-3 became the score in the 70th minute when Rafik Bencheikh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rachid Bourebbou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meziane Kerkar in the 75th minute of the match. Nabil Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
