The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Smail Ouyahia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Abdelmalek El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Run Away MZT got a freekick which was hit by Mounir Hima. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelmalek El-Hadi during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Hayesville got a freekick which was hit by Abdelmalek El-Hadi. If Nabil Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Hayesville got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Lacen. After 44 played minutes Hayesville got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Fergani. After some careless play in the Hayesville defense, Muhammad Ziani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasdi Lacen. The Hayesville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasdi Lacen should have stopped the shot. The Hayesville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Run Away MZT were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Run Away MZT's zone, Smail Ouyahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Bourebbou came out of the goal and Smail Ouyahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rachid Benhabiles charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rachid Benhabiles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Hayesville got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Benhabiles. 62 minutes into the match, Hayesville's goalkeeper Kasdi Lacen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhammad Ziani. Kasdi Lacen was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Nabil Kourichi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nabil Kourichi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Run Away MZT's Rachid Bourebbou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek El-Hadi in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Abdelmalek El-Hadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hayesville's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek El-Hadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Bourebbou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Bourebbou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Smail Ouyahia went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Run Away MZT booed when Hayesville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Djebar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abd el Ulansi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Smail Ouyahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rachid Bourebbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Liamine Chaib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelmalek El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Hayesville had been in control for most of the match, Run Away MZT still came away with the win.
