Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) AS Metal's Rachid Tahar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamid Mezdad during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of AS Metal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Rochelle:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, New Rochelle's Mehdi Amara got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Meziane Amrouche. Nasser Brahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meziane Amrouche having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AS Metal's Boudjemaa Radjef got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Kamel Ouadah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Metal's Meziane Amrouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Kamel Ouadah managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Rochelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Ouadah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meziane Amrouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AS Metal's Meziane Amrouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save AS Metal from getting a goal against them. Nasser Brahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamel Ouadah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Meziane Amrouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamel Ouadah's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Boudjemaa Radjef blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slimane Hamid Brahima having to make a save. With a little luck, New Rochelle's Slimane Hamid Brahima got control of the ball when Boudjemaa Radjef tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Nasser Brahimi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meziane Amrouche. AS Metal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasser Brahimi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Meziane Amrouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasser Brahimi in the 71st minute of the match. If Rachid Tahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slimane Hamid Brahima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Tahar in the 82nd minute of the match. Meziane Amrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasser Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Rachid Tahar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Slimane Hamid Brahima, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Rochelle had won after a very even match.
