El Kerbouche kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Karim Madouni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Karim Madouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Djeballi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdelaziz Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mokdad Daham during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Signal Mountain AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mokdad Daham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Madouni in the 28th minute of play forced Signal Mountain AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Djeballi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Citrus Springs's Mansour Diafat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Daham in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Signal Mountain AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz Morceli came free, but Noureddine Djeballi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Abdelaziz Morceli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Signal Mountain AFC's Noureddine Djeballi. Noureddine Djeballi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karim Madouni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noureddine Djeballi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Abdelaziz Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Noureddine Djeballi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelaziz Morceli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Karim Madouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Madouni got free with Noureddine Djeballi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Noureddine Djeballi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Salim Zouba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Noureddine Djeballi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Madouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noureddine Djeballi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelaziz Morceli in the 70th minute. After 74th play minutes Abd al-Asis Hasni shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Mansour Diafat and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 78th match minute, Signal Mountain AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Kacha to maneuver through the defense. Abdelaziz Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Djeballi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelaziz Morceli in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noureddine Djeballi saved Signal Mountain AFC from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Signal Mountain AFC got a freekick which was hit by François Bouzid. After having played for 94 minutes, Abdelaziz Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Citrus Springs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelaziz Morceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noureddine Djeballi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Madouni in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Citrus Springs players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
