In the 8th match minute, Chamberlain AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Douibi to maneuver through the defense. Charles Mhenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacine Boudjedra in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Yacine Boudjedra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of River Grove's Charles Mhenni. Charles Mhenni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 minutes, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hadjadj made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. River Grove's Charles Mhenni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Yacine Boudjedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Mhenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacine Boudjedra in the 41st minute of the match. River Grove's Charles Mhenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hadjadj in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, River Grove's Ahmed Medjani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mimoun Ouid Abdelghani. Mimoun Ouid Abdelghani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.

In the 75th minute, Yacine Boudjedra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chamberlain AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. River Grove's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hadjadj scored to the left of an out of position Charles Mhenni, making the score, 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yacine Boudjedra got free with Charles Mhenni in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Mhenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hadjadj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
