Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Walid Merbah made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Halim Ramdani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmed Khabatou. Newburyport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halim Ramdani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 10 played minutes Newburyport got a freekick which was hit by Kateb Adjani. René Amara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, René Amara made a precise shot to the right of Toufik Tahar. Harvest FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 25 played minutes, Harvest FC's Gilles Bessou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmed Khabatou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harvest FC reached it. Harvest FC's Toufik Tahar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Harvest FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Harvest FC's Toufik Tahar got control of the ball when René Amara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Harvest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Djamel came free, but Toufik Tahar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Djamel to make the kick off. Ahmed Khabatou was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Walid Merbah capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walid Merbah really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Walid Merbah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walid Merbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ahmed Khabatou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. René Amara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, René Amara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newburyport's supporters rose to their feet, but René Amara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toufik Tahar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mohamed Djamel came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Newburyport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Djamel couldn't finish the play. If Mohamed Djamel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Khabatou made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Halim Ramdani sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Newburyport booed when Harvest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knodi Zenia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Khabatou came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Harvest FC's Halim Ramdani. But to his dismay, Halim Ramdani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
