Lili Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Bezzaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Djamel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Petersburg booed when Midas King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Djebbour didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Petersburg fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Petersburg's Jean-Michel Djamel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Knodi Kermali was the one to do the kick off. Mohamed Bezzaz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Petersburg's Knodi Kermali ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohamed Bezzaz. The Midas King fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Petersburg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
