Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafik Zemmamouche in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodil Boutabout saved Pleasure Ridge AFC from getting behind. In the 4th minute Kamel Assad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodil Boutabout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodil Boutabout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Assad in the 7th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Abdelaziz Ouyahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iowa and the Pleasure Ridge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Iowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelaziz Ouyahia to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Hocine Arrache shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nassim Mehenni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafik Zemmamouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodil Boutabout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Kamel Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Boutabout having to interfere. When Pleasure Ridge AFC's Farès Kafi in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iowa's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Farid Skif from a close distance when the talented Nassim Mehenni managed to make a qualified save. Iowa's players were relieved. Farès Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Mehenni having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Farès Kafi to make the kick off. Iowa's Rafik Zemmamouche got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamel Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fodil Boutabout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalida Nasri kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rafik Zemmamouche struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fodil Boutabout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iowa. Kamel Assad might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodil Boutabout. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamel Assad ran back to his position shaking his head. Farid Skif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iowa's Nassim Mehenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farès Kafi in the 79th minute of play. Fodil Boutabout was a little too slow when Kamel Assad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Farès Kafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nassim Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Iowa's goal looked a bit too open when Farès Kafi came free, but Nassim Mehenni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Skif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Mehenni having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
