In the 19thth minute of the game Moulay Matoub who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lexington Hills's Jussef Fellahi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee ignored Lexington Hills's protests and gave Hamid Haddadj a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Lexington Hills:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lake Lucerne AFC:s goal. Moulay Matoub walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jussef Fellahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moulay Matoub, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Moulay Matoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lexington Hills support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
