An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Laurent Kouri in the 15th minute of play forced Houston's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Houston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil Achiu to maneuver through the defense. Abdelhamid Benhamou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Laurent Kouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelhamid Benhamou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Houston's zone, Amar Tahar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelhamid Benhamou came out of the goal and Amar Tahar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Guillaume Laurent Kouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillaume Laurent Kouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodil Achiu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Arsenal's Guillaume Laurent Kouri in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abdelhamid Benhamou guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 32nd minute Chakib Camus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhamid Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play Houston's Fodil Achiu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fodil Achiu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Belaid Bahari sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Houston's Abdelhamid Benhamou didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Laurent Kouri in the 36th minute of play forced Houston's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume Laurent Kouri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelhamid Benhamou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Jussef Yahia made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Toufik Seghiri sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Guillaume Laurent Kouri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Amar Tahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Abdelhamid Benhamou was a little too slow when Guillaume Laurent Kouri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. Ben Zenia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal's Amar Tahar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Kouri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelhamid Benhamou, 0-7. The Houston supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal.
