Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Ridley's Mahmoud Labi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hakim Morceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Derrida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Algoma's Lazhar Mammeri in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ridley's goalie prevented a goal. After 9 played minutes Ridley got a freekick which was hit by Kateb Azzizi-Kettab. In the 12th minute, Mohamed Derrida made a precise shot to the right of Hakim Morceli. Ridley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mohamed Derrida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Arrache lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Algoma:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mahmoud Bencherif had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Hamza Messaoud's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 34 played minutes Algoma got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Sadmi. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Samir Bahari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ridley's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Bahari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Bencherif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lazhar Mammeri struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Hakim Morceli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algoma. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Labi in the 43rd minute of play forced Algoma's goalkeeper Mahmoud Bencherif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ridley players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Algoma were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lazhar Mammeri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mahmoud Bencherif came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ridley's Samir Bahari. But to his dismay, Samir Bahari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Lazhar Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lazhar Mammeri managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Ridley's Hakim Morceli got control of the ball when Lazhar Mammeri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mahmoud Labi made a precise shot to the right of Mahmoud Bencherif. Algoma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ridley's zone, Lazhar Mammeri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakim Morceli came out of the goal and Lazhar Mammeri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
