After 9 played minutes Mouloud Deghmani rounded Mercer AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The referee gave Mercer AFC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehdi Chebal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Timberlake AFC's Abdelhamid Boniche. 1-1. Maamar Yacef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Boniche having to interfere. Halim Djamel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lounès Chedda came out and tried to block the shot, but Halim Djamel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Mercer AFC got a corner. Timberlake AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehdi Chebal ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute, Mohammad Kaci Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Timberlake AFC got a freekick which was hit by Halim Djamel. Abdelhamid Boniche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Sadmi in the 41st minute of play. If Maamar Yacef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Timberlake AFC's Abdelhamid Boniche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Timberlake AFC from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Mohammad Kaci Benida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lounès Chedda. Mercer AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohammad Kaci Benida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mohamed Sadmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mercer AFC booed when Timberlake AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halim Djamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mercer AFC's Hocine Souakri got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Mohammad Kaci Benida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timberlake AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 75th minute, Mohamed Sadmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mohammad Kaci Benida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Mohammad Kaci Benida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Lounès Chedda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazhar Hamdoud in the 89th minute of play forced Timberlake AFC's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Boniche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timberlake AFC's Abdelhamid Boniche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Sadmi in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Timberlake AFC had won after a very even match.
