The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Saylorville FC's Mohamed Sad got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Nassim Saïdi-Sief made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mahmoud Cherfa would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 8th minute, Assia Cohen-Tannoudji ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamid Skif was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hamid Skif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tedj Bitat in the 12th minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Bitat might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahmoud Cherfa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Baptiste Bitat ran back to his position shaking his head. Tedj Bitat struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hamid Skif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saylorville FC. After 23 played minutes Magalia FC got a freekick which was hit by Nassim Saïdi-Sief. After 30 minutes, Mohamed Sad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saylorville FC and the Magalia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Saylorville FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Mahmoud Cherfa, was totally fooled by Magalia FC's Abdel Karim Belhadj, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Jean-Baptiste Bitat came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Magalia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Baptiste Bitat couldn't finish the play. Hamid Skif stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Assia Cohen-Tannoudji's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Assia Cohen-Tannoudji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean-Baptiste Bitat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mahmoud Cherfa. That made the score 2-1 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tedj Bitat to strike the kick off in the second half. Mahmoud Cherfa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nadir Maroc's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Magalia FC's zone, Assia Cohen-Tannoudji stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Skif came out of the goal and Assia Cohen-Tannoudji tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Magalia FC's Jean-Baptiste Bitat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahmoud Cherfa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Assia Cohen-Tannoudji during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Saylorville FC got a freekick which was hit by Assia Cohen-Tannoudji. After a defensive mix-up in Saylorville FC's zone, Jean-Baptiste Bitat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Bitat might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamid Skif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tedj Bitat ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jean-Baptiste Bitat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nassim Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Cherfa having to interfere. Magalia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
