Rachid Drid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Mesbah having to interfere. When Rachid Drid came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Costa Mesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rachid Drid couldn't finish the play. Hocine Mesbah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Drid in the 75th minute. Rachid Drid succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 77th playminute. Rachid Drid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Abderaouf Zerguelaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Hemdani in the 94th minute of play. Ismaël Bahari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
