Abderaouf Zerguelaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Souakri, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Faouzi Souakri came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ava FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faouzi Souakri couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Costa Mesa booed when Ava FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Belfaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismaël Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Abdel Chaib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ava FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdel Chaib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abderaouf Zerguelaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Costa Mesa's goal looked a bit too open when Faouzi Souakri came free, but Abderaouf Zerguelaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salah Djura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismaël Bahari in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Ava FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Walid Drioueche hit a great ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Rachid Drid from a close distance when the talented Salah Djura managed to make a qualified save. Ava FC's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismaël Bahari to strike the kick off in the second half. Faouzi Souakri charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faouzi Souakri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ava FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Faouzi Souakri hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Abdel Chaib dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abderaouf Zerguelaine, 1-1. Abdel Chaib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderaouf Zerguelaine having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Rachid Drid made a precise shot to the right of Salah Djura. Ava FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 71 played minutes Ava FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Kerkar. The crowd rose to their feet as Faouzi Souakri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abderaouf Zerguelaine. That made the score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. Abdel Chaib's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abderaouf Zerguelaine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Mesa's goal looked a bit too open when Faouzi Souakri came free, but Abderaouf Zerguelaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frantz Boniche kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ava FC's Faouzi Souakri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
