After 31 minutes of play, Ava FC's Faouzi Souakri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hocine Kader was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mokdad Zitouni came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ocean Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokdad Zitouni couldn't finish the play. Hocine Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Chaib, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Abdel Chaib struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hocine Kader didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ava FC.

Salah Djura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tedj Aarache's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Mokdad Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Djura having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Faouzi Souakri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Kader was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. René Mami kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hocine Kader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faouzi Souakri's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 79 played minutes Ava FC got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Lacen. After 83 played minutes, Ocean Grove's Said Zenia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salah Djura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ocean Grove reached it. After a rather tough play, Ava FC's Abdelaziz Kerkar got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Faouzi Souakri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ava FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faouzi Souakri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
