The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salim Djamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fawzi Medjani's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Fawzi Medjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelmalek Fillali's late challenge caught a zarateño-a's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelmalek Fillali helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paris's Abdelmalek Fillali got a free kick in the 27th minute. Yazid Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Salim Djamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tayeb Matmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakhdar Ulansi having to interfere. The supporters of zarateño-a booed when Paris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek Fillali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fawzi Medjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Salim Djamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Youssef Louahla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim Djamel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as zarateño-a's Khair ad-Din Bessou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lakhdar Ulansi. That made the score 1-1 after 47 minutes of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the game, Fawzi Medjani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salim Djamel. Fawzi Medjani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Rabah Madani hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Salim Djamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fawzi Medjani in the 60th minute of the match. Fawzi Medjani struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Salim Djamel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris. After 67 minutes of play, zarateño-a's Tayeb Matmour made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lakhdar Ulansi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rabah Madani kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Daho Mérah-Benida sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paris's Lakhdar Ulansi didn't even have to move. Paris's Lakhdar Ulansi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Matmour in the 73rd minute of play. Yacine Zitouni hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Fawzi Medjani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Salim Djamel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Rabah Madani fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris's protests and gave Rabah Madani a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of zarateño-a booed when Paris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Madani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayeb Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Youssef Louahla in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salim Djamel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Youssef Louahla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Salim Djamel made a huge save. Paris were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
