Abdelnacer Douibi lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Kendale Lakes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chanute:s goal. In the 5th minute of the game, Chanute got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 10th minute Chih Bey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Menad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chanute booed when Kendale Lakes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slimane Teissier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Chih Bey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Menad was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Chih Bey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Menad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Chanute's Chadli Chaouchi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Menad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Leon Menad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chih Bey, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Smail Guendouz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slimane Teissier in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Chih Bey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Menad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smail Guendouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slimane Hamid in the 38th minute of play. Chih Bey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Menad having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chanute's Chadli Chaouchi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slimane Teissier during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Slimane Teissier kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slimane Teissier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chih Bey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leon Menad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Julian Vergaray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanute fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Chih Bey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Menad having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Julian Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chanute's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Menad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Chih Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chanute's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chih Bey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chih Bey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Menad having to make a save. Leon Menad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chadli Chaouchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Mansouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kendale Lakes FC's Leon Menad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chih Bey in the 83rd minute of play. Slimane Teissier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Smail Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Chanute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. When Ferhat Khadra fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kendale Lakes FC's protests and gave Ferhat Khadra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chanute booed when Kendale Lakes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhat Khadra didn't get a good kick on the ball.
