Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Tlemcani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ahmed Tlemcani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brahim Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brahim Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara having to interfere. Farès Temmam charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Farès Temmam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Woodlands AFC booed when North Crossett AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farès Temmam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reda Lamine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Woodlands AFC's Reda Lamine got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Tlemcani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Reda Adjaoud having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Farès Temmam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Ahmed Tlemcani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Tlemcani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmed Reda Adjaoud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute, Brahim Abbas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Crossett AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reda Lamine in the 64th minute of play forced North Crossett AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Reda Adjaoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Woodlands AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Yazid Lelouch hit a great ball. Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara having to interfere. Brahim Abbas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Crossett AFC. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Brahim Abbas sent off a good shot on target. Nasserredine Benmabrouk hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Abdelhamid Malek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The North Crossett AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing North Crossett AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
