The supporters of Kirtland booed when Chetek AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Mohamed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zīn ud-Dīn Firoud was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nouredine Raï got free with Abd al-Asis Khendu in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nasserredine Al-Jazairia came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Chetek AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasserredine Al-Jazairia couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Dida Mezdad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abd al-Asis Khendu. The goal made the score 3-2. When Nasserredine Al-Jazairia fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chetek AFC's protests and gave Nasserredine Al-Jazairia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Chetek AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasserredine Al-Jazairia to maneuver through the defense. Nouredine Raï's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abd al-Asis Khendu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Abd al-Asis Khendu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 4-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferhat Benflis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 69th minute Dida Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Asis Khendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smail Bahari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Benflis in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Nouara Liegeon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Nasserredine Al-Jazairia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Smail Bahari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Benflis in the 81st minute of play forced Kirtland's goalkeeper Smail Bahari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chetek AFC's Nasserredine Al-Jazairia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abd al-Asis Adjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Dida Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Asis Khendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ferhat Benflis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chetek AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kirtland.
