Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Madjid Dahleb took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fodil Boumedienne came out of the goal and Anther Lamine Kab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, North Potomac AFC's Rabah Ahmed ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodil Boumedienne. Fodil Boumedienne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Smail Bessou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodil Boumedienne having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Smail Bessou took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Fodil Boumedienne to make any attempt to save it. Smail Bessou struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fodil Boumedienne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Potomac AFC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rabah Ahmed made a kick off. The supporters of North Potomac AFC booed when Hale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Lemoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Rabah Ahmed sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hale FC's Fodil Boumedienne didn't even have to move. When Nouredine Semghoun fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hale FC's protests and gave Nouredine Semghoun a yellow card for diving instead. Rabah Ahmed walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, North Potomac AFC's Hamid Said got control of the ball when Abd al-Asis Zitouni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rabah Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Boumedienne having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mohammad Zerara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. North Potomac AFC had played much better football throughout.
