Moncks Corner's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sofiane Chadl in the 14th minute. Yacine Medjoudj charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yacine Medjoudj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yacine Medjoudj hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Gallaire to make the kick off. Farid Megharia struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ali Zenia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wapello AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Moncks Corner's zone, Farid Megharia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Zenia came out of the goal and Farid Megharia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes of play Wapello AFC's Yacine Medjoudj was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Wapello AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Yacine Medjoudj hit a great ball. Farid Megharia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ali Zenia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Wapello AFC's Khalida Djeziri made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Zenia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karim Gallaire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mouloud Zeghdoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mouloud Zeghdoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mebarek Zitouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mouloud Zeghdoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mebarek Zitouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Zenia made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Farid Megharia sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mebarek Zitouni in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mouloud Zeghdoud saved Wapello AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Wapello AFC booed when Moncks Corner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud N'Soumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Moncks Corner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by El Saci to maneuver through the defense. The Moncks Corner players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
